The Becoming

This day on a butte overlooking Albuquerque in 2010 will always be one of may favorites. Pascale and I became friends through Flickr because of the 365 Day Project. I was in town visiting another friend and made a little time to link up and shoot. This was shot in the Petroglyph National Monument. We made our way to a neighborhood in the area, parked, and proceeded to hike up the side. Weather wise it wasn't bad for an October day but after we made it to the top she was already shedding her clothes and enjoying the breeze. It was peaceful up there, just me and my muse for the time. Once we were finished we made our way back down the butte. I know I slept really well that night from all the hiking. It wasn't till after I got back to my friends house and checked a map of that area that we could have driven a few blocks over and made our way up there by car and walked maybe a quarter mile on a flat surface to get to the spot we shot at. If that were the case there would have been less of a story to tell :-)
